Unable to visit Osaka, Japan, we headed to the Press and Cultural Center of the Embassy of Japan in China to explore Japanese culture and the Osaka World Expo. On August 7, “Witness Friendship” 2025 Summer Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalists visited the Japanese Cultural Center.
下午16:00, 我们小记者经过严格的身份核验, 挥动中日两国国旗、列队进入日本驻华大使馆新闻文化处。踏入围墙铁门, “日本国大使馆”牌子清晰可见, 小记者一个个经过安检, 进入日本驻华使馆新闻文化处。大家安静的坐下来, 开始阅读有关资料。
At 4:00 PM, the junior journalists, having undergone rigorous identity verification, waved the flags of China and Japan as they entered the Press and Cultural Center of the Embassy of Japan in China. Upon passing through the border fence, the sign “Embassy of Japan” was clearly visible. Each junior journalist passed through security screening before entering the Cultural Center. Everyone settled quietly into their seats and began reading the fascinating materials.
2025年大阪世博会以"设计未来社会, 绽放生命光彩"为主题, 于4月13日至10月13日在大阪展开人类文明对话的壮丽画卷。汇聚全球160余个国家和国际组织, 规划超200万平方米的"未来实验场"。2025年大阪世博会格外引人注目。世博馆此次以“数字人文”为亮点, 结合科技与历史, 讲述了上海在2010年世博会之后的城市转型与文化发展之路。此次是全球首个以世博会为主题的数字人文展项, 也是上海为后世博发展成果的一次献礼。小记者们在日本驻华大使馆新闻文化处不仅仅是了解日本世博会, 更了解日本文化, 这个新闻文化处藏的资料多为漫画、杂志、电视剧、电影等内容, 为小记者了解日本文化开辟了一条轻松通道。小记者们选择自己喜欢的漫画画报、书籍等在阅读。
The 2025 Osaka World Expo, themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, unfolds a magnificent panorama of human civilization dialogue in Osaka between April 13 and October 13. Gathering over 160 countries and international organizations, it plans a “Future Laboratory” spanning more than 2 million square meters. The 2025 Osaka Expo holds particular significance. The Expo Pavilion highlights “Digital Humanities,” blending technology with history to narrate Shanghai's urban transformation and cultural development since the 2010 World Expo. This marks the world's first digital humanities exhibition themed around a World Expo, serving as Shanghai's tribute to its post-Expo achievements. At the Press and Cultural Center of the Embassy of Japan in China, the junior journalists not only learned about the Japan Expo but also gained insights into Japanese culture. The Center has huge collections including manga, magazines, TV dramas, and films, provided an accessible gateway for the junior journalists to explore Japanese culture. They selected manga magazines, books, and other materials of their choice to read.
