On September 19, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Mr. Zhang Qingwei, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress Mr. Fu Ziying, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Mr. Sun Weidong, Vice Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Mr. Ma Hui, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Military Procuratorate of the People's Liberation Army Major General Hu Minghua, and Vice President of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee Mr. Li Wentang attended the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day Reception in Beijing. 越南驻华大使范清平阁下在招待会上致辞。他说, 越南八月革命和九·二国庆是意义重大的历史性里程碑。经过80年争取民族独立和建设并发展国家, 越南坚定不移奉行独立自主、和平、友好、合作, 推动国际关系多边化、多样化, 积极、主动融入国际社会的对外政策, 是国际社会各国的朋友、值得信赖的合作伙伴和负责任的成员国。
Ambassador of Vietnam to China H.E. Mr. Pham Thanh Binh delivered important remarks at the reception. He stated that Vietnam's August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd represent significant historical milestones. After 80 years of striving for national independence and building and developing the country, Vietnam has steadfastly pursued a foreign policy of independence, peace, friendship, and cooperation, promoting multilateralism and diversity in international relations, and actively and proactively integrating into the international community. Vietnam is a friend to all nations in the international community, a trustworthy partner, and a responsible member state.
范清平大使指出, 在越南共产党的领导下, 目前越南稳步地向现代化迈进, 持续推行革新, 全面实现机构改革, 在各领域取得突破性进展, 为进入民族崛起新纪元奠定积极基础, 将越南建成民富、国强、民主、公平、文明的社会主义国家。为了实现此目标, 随着越南历代人民的不懈努力, 包括中国在内的国际友人的宝贵支持是不可缺少的。
Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh noted that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the country is steadily advancing toward modernization, continuously implementing reforms, comprehensively carrying out institutional restructuring, and achieving breakthrough progress across all sectors. These efforts lay a solid foundation for entering a new era of national rejuvenation, aiming to build Vietnam into a socialist nation characterized by prosperity for its people, national strength, democracy, equity, and civilization. To achieve this goal, the tireless efforts of successive generations of Vietnamese people, along with the invaluable support of international friends including China, is indispensable.
范清平大使表示, 近期越中关系保持良好发展势头, 并按照“六个更”总体目标全面推动, 两国高层交往密切, 并成为双边关系的亮点, 最为突出的是越共中央总书记、国家主席苏林和中共中央总书记、国家主席习近平分别2024年8月和2025年4月实现互访。两国高层领导在短短一段时间内实现三次互访, 越南国家主席梁强, 越南政府总理范明正, 中国全国人大常委会委员长赵乐际8月底、9月初在各自国家出席重大纪念典礼和参加重要多边活动, 这是两国关系发展史上首次出现, 同时体现两国之间的重视与支持。
Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh stated that Vietnam-China relations have maintained a positive momentum of development recently, advancing comprehensively under the overarching goal of “Six Further Improvements.” High-level exchanges between the two countries have been close and have become a highlight of bilateral relations, most notably with the reciprocal visits by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President Nguyen Phu Trong and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President Xi Jinping in August 2024 and April 2025, respectively. Three reciprocal high-level visits have been conducted within a short period. Vietnamese President Lê Cương, Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji attended major commemorative ceremonies and important multilateral events in each other's countries in late August and early September. This marks the first time in the history of bilateral relations, reflecting the mutual importance and support between the two nations.

He also expressed satisfaction at the remarkable developmental achievements Vietnam has made over the past 80 years. He noted that 2025 holds special significance for China-Vietnam relations, marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries. Activities for the Year of Cultural Exchange will be held, and high-level exchanges and contacts at all levels will be maintained. The attendance of senior leaders from both countries at each other's major events is seen as a demonstration of mutual support and importance.
